“ Not sure why this place has 3 stars compared to all of the other places in the area that have 4 stars: sushi 661, ichiban sushi, o sushi, love sushi, Mr sushi, achita sushi, etc etc....the quality is all about the same and Bonsai fits right into this group. It's the same mediocre mid range sushi that dominates out here. If this is what you're looking for, Bonsai is just as good as those other places and they offer AYCE. We've dined in for AYCE and the service was fine! ”

“ We hadn't been here for several months so we decided to stop in for the AYCE sushi. The restaurant wasn't very busy so the service was quick. We ordered a tremendous amount of sushi and rolls, as well as a yellowtail collar, gyoza, edamame and mixed tempura. All of the sushi was amazing and was served very quickly. The owner still not very warm and fuzzy, so don't expect a warm greeting. ”
“ Was looking for a sushi spot. This one still advertised AYCE. Not only do they still have it, but you can still get the bar experience too! Came when they first opened. There were a couple of people, and we asked to sit at the bar. The chef was really responsive, answering questions with a smile. The waiter, brought out drinks right away. The menu is clear and descriptively clear. There are many options for Sakee's as well as other drinks to choose from. The appetizer selection was plentiful too. I recommend the salmon collar. We did go with the AYCE menu which includes quite a few of the regular menu app selections. The rolls were so good a great balance or rice to fish ratios. The taste of everything was extremely fresh, and all the fish on the nigiri had great texture. Had a wonderful conversation with the manager/owner? He was extremely personable, and went out of his way to ask after his diners enjoyment. The price was more than fair, in my estimate at 41.95 for lunch AYCE. The price was slightly higher for dinner after 3 pm, and less for children 12 and under. They also have other options for meals or ramens and I might try some of those next time, because I saw another diner had ordered that and it looked wonderful as well ”
